I never gave up as a teacher. If I didn’t get across dangling modifiers in one class session, I kept the lesson up if the job took a month. Finally, light dawned in the students’ eyes, and they caught on to dangling modifiers. I am on a dangling-modifier project with the schools. lee

Everything trickles down from the top. The Superintendent sets the tone of the district. Elia has set a tone throughout her career as she has risen up the ranks of grinding her heels into the backs of others at each climb up the ladder. Nobody likes her except the school board members. Or maybe she has the goods on the board members, so they do as she says. She must know dirt on each of them. I would not put it past her.
Anyway this guy is simply following the same behavior patterns he sees among his fellow ROSSAC colleagues, so it was natural for him to turn in Goader to the police. They all act that way down there, so they think it is normal. He probably called the police and didn't give one second's thought about it. That's how little they care about other human beings down there. Like I said, it trickles down from the top, and the top dog Elia could care less about any human being in the district. Ask anyone who has worked under her in the past. She's probably the most hated person in Hillsborough County.

An ESE Specialist is the one who is supposed to work WITH the ESE teachers/aides at schools and the district level. MR. SMILEY is the one whoi IS LIABLE-- let me repeat thais-- MR. SMILEY is the one who IS LIABLE. It is HIS RESPONSIBILITY to oversee/intervene in EVERY ESE CLASSROOM. TO LEAVE A SINGLE PERSON ALONE WITH ESE KIDS AT THIS LEVEL IS A LEGAL OFFENSE, AS WELL AS GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION !!!! This is CROTICAL to Goaders situation. As a former ESE teacher who workrd with an excellent ESE Spcialist, I KNOW THIS!!!

If Mr. Smiley is a supervisor, then HE is the one that is accountable. Administration MUST discipline one of its own if they want to get out of this without ANOTHER black mark against them and ANOTHER reason for distrust and MORE bad (GET THIS, JENNY)publicity!!!

I was watching a tv show on Animal Planet called "It's the dog or me" (or something like that). It is like the Dog Whisperer except that it is a British woman who teaches people how to retrain their unruly dogs.
She says, "The best leaders rule without force!" and she knows her stuff. She goes into a household that is in disarray because the owners have not done the right thing to train their dogs. She leaves with the dog behaving and the people knowing how to take care of their dog so he/she doesn't act up.
Elia has never learned this rule that the best leaders rule without force. It is too bad. She has spent her whole career kicking those underneath her as she climbed to the top so her leadership and cursing out employees in her office as if she were a drunken sailor keep the status quo of leading by intimidation alive in that ROSSAC building.
