What Would Dr. Watkins Say?

The lag time from June 26 when the incident of “child abuse” occurred that involved Steve Kemp and its being reported to the authorities on July 2 is suspicious. The incident was observed by the school snitches on June 25 but was not reported until a full six days later on July 2 on the hotline.

It doesn’t make sense that people convinced that Steve Kemp had engaged in child abuse of special-needs children would wait a full six days later. It they believed child abuse had occurred, they would have called the hot line immediately for the safety of the children. They used this interval to cook up a firing offense of Goader because he authors a blog critical of the way the board and administration misrun the schools.

This scenario suggests that the people supervising Kemp didn’t count the action child abuse at first but mulled it over and decided that this might be the way to rid the superintendent and board of a teacher with a blog that critiques the schools’ administration.
