Dig Dig Dig Dig Dig Dig

I agree with the reader below. Every time I go to a board meeting what strikes me is that on the board dais there plays out the motive of power that afflicts each of the so-called leaders of the schools up there. lee

I have been reading about power hungry people like Agrippina, Nero, Caligua, etc. They all would do anything to maintain power. They were leaders of the civilized world back then. Today the leaders are the same way, except they avoid murdering other people to stay out of trouble, but they still pillage, steal, and probably rape anyone in their path to power. They are sickos! School board = Sickos!

But the financial disclosure forms do not tell anyone about the many dollars stolen during the school board members' tenure. These people are crooks plain and simple. They have stolen taxpayers blind, yet they think they are watching out for children's welfare. They are fooling themselves. People will convince themselves of anything. Studies show that serial killers actually believe they are good human beings despite killing many people. Same with these school board members. They believe they are good people despite screwing all the taxpayers and children of Hillsborough County.

Lee - The school board members file their own financial disclosure forms with the state division of elections. I believe they handle this, rather than their secretaries, because it is related to elections and the secretaries are prohibited from participating in election-related work. We all are when we're on taxpayer time.

Board members do submit receipts for reimbursement.

Linda, I request the receipts for reimbursement of the three school-board members up for re-election: Griffin, Falliero, and Olson.

I believe that record respectively is two years, four years, and sixteen years. I will pay copying fees if needed. Thank you. ldd

I don't know where old law suit files are kept in the state. I would start with the 13th judicial circuit. We don't store files past the retention timeline because we don't have space for that many files.

I must have just believed I had sent you the request. My apologies. My question on the board members' financial information is how long a period may a citizen ask for of an elected official's financial information?

Candy Olson, for example has been on the board for sixteen years?

Does public records law mean I can ask for her sixteen-years span of financial information?

And when board members spend state money for travel, etc., is that itemized like Mark Rubio's revealing credit-card statements are? Are board members' itemized receipts for the spending of public monies available for such things as board travel and/or other expenditures?

Whitehead: The question I still don't know the answer to is when the schools don't have to maintain a case such as Whitehead's, which state agency does it go to for storage? The government can't just throw away these documents. They have to be stored somewhere.

I never got an email from you with this question before. Regular employees don't have to file financial disclosure documents, but elected school board members do. I will put in a records request for you for board members' financial disclosure forms. I need you to specifiy a time frame.

We don't retain files (Whitehead) beyond the retention schedule.

Linda, I left out a pivotal word in my message to you. See below. lee

Linda, does the Public Affairs Office provide legal financial data on school board members and employees?

You have not answered my question yet about where files like the Whitehead case are stored in the state archives, at which a citizen may ask for it. ldd

I think it's legal to look at anything of any public official's money interests. Just ask for it. They have to provide. They probably have to disclose it somewhere... probably all lies

Lee....Financial disclosure forms are public record at the Supervisor of Elections office. Current ones for board member candidates are not due until they have actually "qualified" to be on the ballot.

I, for one, do not believe they avoid murdering people. Have you looked around tampa lately? Who here is LEFT since Pam Iorio took office? Only the worst scum who imported MORE scum and a few good people who are connected some way or some way given a pass. It does sound dismal but look around. For a while they were just carting away trailer full's of other folks' belongings. Where does all that stuff in the thrift stores come from? All these antique cars you suddenly see on the road. These thieves have had people selectively diagnosed, stolen their homes and property through hospice and taken their long stored vehicles from their garages.
