Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Cliff Notes on the 10th Board Meeting: We Will Hav...": I watched the Board Meeting online and I did have a chance to hear your comments.I agree with you completely. In order to be effective, however, I think that you should focus more on the topic at hand (Steve Kemp) . Although the Erwin case was a terrible ordeal, continuously bringing it up (in the meetings) only makes it seem as if you are rambling and are less likely to be taken seriously on other matters.

I will keep this criticism in mind. It helps me be more effective. However, I think the Erwin case is the linchpin of ROSSAC's descent into criminality. It is the touchstone of the continuing criminal behavior of the administration and board to this day. Anyone who has not read those boxes of Erwin files does not know the depths to which ROSSAC people are willing to go to to keep the power of their positions and the public money attached to them. The campaign of ROSSAC with the board's collusion to shut teachers out and up has at its root in the determination to keep the power the and money attached to it. lee

Erwin case is telling. "Follow the money." Erwin brought to light questionable construction contracts. Also, reported internal corruption. Same thing happening at HCC.

I think you should keep reminding the board about Doug Erwin. They don't want his name brought up, b/c it was a big scandal at the time, and EVERYONE in Tampa knew Erwin was telling the truth. He was known as a good guy by everyone who knew him, and many did know him.

The board was scared of the press at the time, and the board and administration closed ranks and stuck together in an attempt to make him look like he is wrong or lying. But the entire city and county knew he was not.

Your posting the Erwin files a while back showed how horribly they treated him, and people need to know about that. They would love for you to shut up about it, but don't. This case needs to haunt them the rest of their lives, because they attempted to destroy a good man. That is just plain evil.
