Ask them how many IEP's I used to go to in assisting other kids and parents. Ask them how how some of us tried to change the system through the Superintendent's Advisory Council on Special Education. The development of that council came about as one of the settlement factors of the Whitehead case because the Whiteheads were seeking systemic change. Ask how many recommendations to the Superintendent have come out of that council. I would be interested in seeing if it ever got above zero since the late 90's.<BR/><BR/>Enough about the past. The final decision in their favor was based on proving in federal court that the HCPS retaliated against the parents for advocating for their son.<BR/><BR/>Later I can provide links about their first case but I don't have time right now.<BR/><BR/>Richard L.
